DESIGN DIALOGUE WITH ROBYN SCOTT IN CALIFORNIA
robyn’s design tip
“add an organic accent such as a ceramic bowl of succulents, or an over-scaled cherry blossom branch to create a feeling of freshness in your home that connects you to nature.”
The soothing color tones at the beach
Sandy beige, cool grays and the gradation of blues in the ocean, smokey gray and slate tones in the cliffs – this is a visual pleasure and inspires our designs.
New cool Golf Clothing Store, Travis Matthews.
I love the interior design for this stylish golf store in Fashion Island- Newport Beach. You can find some of the best shopping and retail store design in the Newport Beach area. Go check it out when you are in town.
Sculptural Palm Trees
The landscape can be a design itself. As designers, we look to nature to complete our design aesthetic. See how this Entry Loggia has been created to display a wall of Chihuly glass sculptures while the palm trees outside the Loggia offer their own organic elements upon entry.
