A Holistic approach to interiors where Texture, Art and Furnishings become an Expression of the Architecture
Robyn Scott is an accomplished, award winning interior designer with a portfolio exemplifying top-level expertise and elite clientele. Since opening her design firm 20 years ago, Scott has garnered acclaim for her unique vision and holistic approach to interior design. She is the only designer executing her unique approach- Artitexture. She crafted the concept and coined the term “Artitexture” as a way of bridging her passion and talents –art and interior design, creating a bridge between architectural structure and interior furnishings. Backed by a team of leading contractors, vendors and suppliers, Scott delivers spaces that exude connections to the environment, sophistication, and elevated living.
Scott’s projects have ranged from multi-million dollar custom resort residences to elaborate hospitality projects, throughout the world from Colorado to New York to Baja and beyond; including the complete remodel of the 10,000-square-foot Sardy House, an Aspen landmark built in 1892 with renowned Harry Teague Architects; the Trump Baja Ocean Resort, including 188 units, lobby, restaurants and luxury spa with project partners, Guerin Glass Architects New York; and multiple custom built and full-scale remodels in Aspen and Snowmass ranging from 2,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet, delivering her clients the best value at top markets.
It’s been said by her client’s that “Her artistic sense and vision have brought a distinctive, new beauty to the interior” and “Robyn’s keen eye for contemporary design, materials and detailing make her my ideal choice as design partner, and of her most acclaimed project “Many have said this is one of the most special homes they have been in, from Vail to Aspen.”
Scott has been recognized by many of the country’s top design publications including Architectural Digest, Robb Report, Mountain Living’s “Top Architects and Designers,” Best of Houzz, and first-place awards in residential design by the American Society of Interior Designers.
Scott’s involvement in her community range beyond her role as interior designer. She is an enthusiastic supporter of a wide variety of arts organizations including Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, The Aspen Institute and Aspen Art Museum.
Based in Aspen, Colorado, Robyn has an interior design degree from Colorado State University and studied design in Florence, Italy. Scott was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she was first introduced to the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, and grew up in Winter Park, Florida. The combination of her travels to Europe and throughout the Western United States enables Robyn to create sophisticated, yet comfortable, interiors, which maintain a relationship to the outdoors through organic elements. She loves skiing, golf, tennis, hiking, biking and spending time with her family – husband Craig, son Jackson and daughter Kate.
Scott values running a small boutique firm with personal service, and you will always work directly with her on your project. As a master in her field, she is called upon by the top realtors, architects and builders in Aspen and surrounding areas, to be a professional team member to their projects and for their clients.
