Snowmass, Colorado – 2015
The ideas for this Snowmass remodel were in the works since our first design created in 2009 but put on hold until the decision was made in 2013 to really transform this existing home. This home was designed and built in the mid 1990s and the client wanted to create a home for a growing family with lots of grandkids. We added a Bunk Bedroom now having a total of 6 Bedrooms and Bathrooms ; we flipped the Dining room and Kitchen creating a large Great Room gathering spot; we flipped the Entry Staircase which enhanced the Entry experience; we changed exterior finishes and created a new Garage; we took the whole house down to the studs and brought in everything new- flooring, tile, stone, plumbing, doors, hardware, appliances, lighting, furniture, landscape and more. We collaborated with Rob Sinclair and Alison Foto with RGS Architecture, Gregg Mackell with 186 Lighting, Cody Construction and many other team players. The interior is a beautiful contemporary interior layered with modern furniture, taupe and beige textures, dramatic lighting, alpine accents, and amazing art.
