The Lundy house in the West End of Aspen, in Modernist 1970’s architecture by prominent American Architect, Victor Lundy, has been envisioned by the development team and design teams to focus on the preservation of the architect’s personal “garden house”. The design team of Architects Chad Oppenheim, as consultant, and Derek Skalko, paid homage to Lundy’s mid-century mastery in the re-design of this home beginning in 2014.
We were contracted to execute this fast track “speculative home” project to take the acclaimed house to completion. We successfully curated the Art and Furnishings Package and completed installation early September 2018. Reviews have been nothing but exceptional and we truly believe that we captured the essence of the home: its historical reference to Aspen, mid-century modern bones, and sense of space and light. Maximizing on our multitude of resources, vendor relationships and 17 years of experience, allowed us to complete this project in budget and under 2 months.
